African Marriage Teams & Safari Pics

One of LaNora and my first opportunities for teaching our marriage book came by the hands of Bishop Philip Mbatia and his wonderful wife Catherine Waweru in Kenya. At this venue, I felt that the couples were engaged and intrigued by the topic matter. We were originally given two hours to speak, but once the couples became fully engaged with the material they allowed us to finish the entire session which went nearly one hour more.

LaNora and I were so blessed to have been apart of such an awesome time. We hope to introduce more of the marriage material in Kenya at another opportunity. Meanwhile, we would like to send a warm "shout-out" to our wonderful friends and family in the great country of Kenya, especially those dearly beloved marriage teams in the city of Thika.

One more thing to note...while we were there we spent some additional time with a great pastor and friend Stanley Mwalili. He is such a powerful force in the Nairobi area of Kenya. We were fortunate to be accompanied by him and our good friend Gideon Kiluma Musimba to the Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru for a safari excursion. I was glad to have the opportunity to share this experience with my wife, LaNora. Although the mornings were super early, they were well worth the sacrifice. I loved seeing the dew from the morning settle over the valley as the sun peaked over the horizon.
